Longevity is Fitness2025-10-06
“Take care of your body. It's the only place you have to live.”
—Jim Rohn
That is the most succinct definition of longevity.
Let me elaborate. This holds true as both an adjective and as a verb.
Fit as an adjective means your body and mind are fit to perform life activities that lead to life success: preserving, multiplying and improving - your genes, phenes (behaviors) and memes (ideas).
Fitness as a verb means that the best way to do that is to make physical training and mental training part of your daily routine. Most people are aware of the physical training bit, but the mental training is as important. There is no health without mental health.
The best place to start for physical health is walking, and for mental health is meditating. Simple things done are better than complex things planned. Make these simple things daily habits. Then you can add more on top of that. One way to track things and improve your life is to use our Life x Mind app, where we have brought all these threads together in a single place in a usable and, we hope, useful format.
